PARK SLOPE APARTMENT, BROOKLYN NY

For The Design Enthusiasts

This apartment was designed for a young couple who love color and are design enthusiasts themselves. They were on board with all the bold design choices from the get go making it a fun collaboration.

The living room was designed to entertain with a mix of bold primary colors and a play of pattern and form.

Reupholstered vintage mid-century lounge chairs with petterned drapery as backdrop, a statement floor lamp, deep red expansive rug and a vibrant upholstered credenza bring color, pattern, form, texture, old and new all together in this living room vignette.

This room was designed as a guest room / home office for her. Since she loves bold color combinations, we opted for a gradient chartreuse wallpaper with a pale pink sleeper sofa and a bold floral feminine rug to complement.

Each piece is carefully curated for a balance of color, pattern and texture.

This room was designed for him as a garden room/ home office since he has a green thumb and loves the outdoors. We wallpapered the walls in a botanical wallpaper and added a fun swing chair for an outdoorsy feel.

The master bedroom is designed as a tranquil dreamy escape. A combination of dreamy patterns and colors evoke a feeling of being transported.

We created this cozy reading nook by sourcing an iconic mid-century lounge chair and reupholstering it in an ethereal plush velvet with the backdrop of a heavenly drapery and wood finishes that bring it all together.

The wide nightstands provide additional storage, a bonus in apartment living and serve as a base for the marble table lamps bringing in another finish.

Every piece in the master bedroom has been carefully handpicked to work in harmony with each other and create balance.
